To join Threads, all you need is an Instagram account. Once you’re in, you’ll be able to follow the same accounts you follow on Instagram. According to a recent blog post by Meta, their goal is to create a diverse and interconnected network where users of compatible apps can interact with each other even if they don’t have a Threads account.
Since Threads was launched on July 6th, over 100 million new accounts have been created, and the numbers are still growing. Both individuals and businesses are jumping on board, and some are even calling it the “Twitter Killer” due to Twitter’s recent unpopular decisions.
